# Dev-sync: pages that follow changes

Dev-sync is the round arrows button at the top. Turn it on while you, or your AIs, are changing things, and the pages you have open keep themselves current.

**What it does**

- A topic page refreshes by itself when a new version is saved, keeping your place on the page.
- You see your own unpublished draft of a topic, with a note saying so. With Dev-sync off, you see the published text.
- Lists like the pipeline, Work and notices update as things happen.

**Why a page might refresh under you:** that's Dev-sync doing its job, because something on the page changed. The editor never refreshes, so you won't lose typing.

**Turning it off:** tap the button again. It's remembered per project, on this browser.
