# d2portfolio: spec tests

This is SpecTest, the black-box tests of d2portfolio: at least one test per line of [[Spec]] (and [[SpecUi]] where there is one), each saying who it runs as and what it checks, under the same feature `{#id}`. The designer writes them; the spec-test guardian keeps them and their status. Code tests belong to each code base (its `…Test` topic).

## Goals

- **Role:** proof that d2portfolio does what [[Spec]] says, whoever built it.
- **A line belongs here if** it checks behaviour a user or an AI would notice, from the outside.
- **It fails if** a spec line has no test, or a test needs the code to be read.
